Mindy McCready Fights Vivid
Apr 8th, 2010 | By GossipQueen | Category: Celebrity BuzzVivid Entertainment has announced that will be postponing the release of the alleged sex tape of country singer, Mindy McCready.
“Baseball Mistress” is being postponed so they can verify legalities surrounding the tapes origins. The battle between Vivid’s founder/co-chairman Steven Hirsch and McCready’s attorney, Adam Dread, is getting hotter and more intense every second!
Some sources have obtained a letter sent to Vivid from Dread, requesting the studio provide him with the following information in order to avoid being taken to court:
1. A copy of the tape Vivid plans to release.
2. Copies of any talent/release from any of the participants in it
3. Copies of any authorization for Vivid to use/sell/promote/exploit it
4. Copies of any sales receipt/invoice for the purchase of the footage
5. Names and addresses of any third parties involved in any sale of the footage to Vivid
6. Dates of authorizations, purchase, release, and taping date of the footage.
Vivid has stated that they would rather pursue the case in court then to oblige by Dread’s request.
“Adam Dread is being presumptuous to think we will share all of the information he’s requested in his letter to me. “We have no fear of the court system as we’ve operated within the law and we’ll provide him with the documentation that is necessary, when we’re ready, and not a minute before,” Hirsch said.
The film allegedly features McCready engaging in explicit sexual situations with a former boyfriend and has her dishing intimate details of her relationship with baseball star Roger Clemens
